About the Artist
I grew up in a small town in New Jersey. I was an only child, and I loved to create and draw from a young age. Art was a great way of entertaining myself, because being an only child can be boring at times, so, you have to be creative with your time. I remember always asking my mom to get me a how to draw art set, and an easel for Christmas. She finally got it for me, and I was so happy. I drew every exercise in the book, and, I still have some of them to this day. I would find alittle hiding spot behind the recliner and tape a piece of paper to the wall, and start splashing paint around on it pretending I was a famous artist.
In High School I took nothing but art classes. I took drawing, computer art, mechanical drawing, woodshop, and even basket weaving. After graduating High School, I attended, Brookdale Community College in Lincroft, NJ. I received my AA in Graphic Design. I then transfered to Georgian Court College, now (University) in Lakewood, NJ with a softball scholarship. Softball was my other passion, and, it gave me the opportunity to get my BA in Commercial Art.
Although in College I leaned more towards the Graphic Arts, my real passion has always been painting. I love to play and get my hands dirty, and experiment with different mediums.
